What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Personal Information Collected Voluntarily Provided

You will not be required to provide us with any personal information when you visit our Platform.  However, portions of our Platform may require us to collect personal information about you.  For those ordering products, we collect name, address, phone number, and email address. We offer account creation upon placing an order, which requires a password; or Guest Checkout for those not wanting to create an account.  For those not ordering product or creating an account, we collect anonymous information such as IP addresses along with analytics of pages viewed, length of time on a page, and other non-personally identifiable usage information.  During your use of the Platform we may collect your name, email address, physical address, telephone number, username, password, identifier, organization information, IP address, location, information, ISP information, and other identifying details.  Any personal information you submit via the Platform shall be used and disclosed in accordance with this Privacy Policy.  We may also collect payment information that you make available to us for your use of the Platform.  Please be aware that this payment information shall be stored by third party payment processors.

Personal Information Automatically Collected

Whenever you use our Platform, we may collect non-identifying information from you, such as your interactions with the Platform, query information, pricing data, research history, referring URL, browser, application interaction, mobile provider information, operating system, data usage, and data transferred.  We will use Google Analytics to collect usage data on the traffic to the site and there may be additional analytics tools used over time.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Contact forms

If you contact us through one of our contact forms on our website, you are optin in to sending us your name, email,  information will be stored on the website and sent to us through an email notification. 

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
